Klipper / Moonraker setup

Voron, Rat Rig, Rinkhals-flashed Anycubic, Prusa via Moonraker — anything running Moonraker.

Any printer running Moonraker — Voron, Rat Rig, a Rinkhals-flashed Anycubic Kobra, Prusa boards running Klipper — connects to Rackrew over plain HTTP on your local network.

1. Trust the bridge in moonraker.conf

Moonraker only accepts unauthenticated requests from IPs listed under trusted_clients. Add the bridge's IP address (the Hub's, or the machine running the Rackrew agent) to your printer's moonraker.conf:

[authorization]
trusted_clients:
  192.168.1.50 # the bridge's IP

Restart the Moonraker service after editing the file.

2. Note the host and port

  • Host — the printer's IP address on your local network.
  • Port — Moonraker's default is 7125. Rinkhals builds have shipped it on other ports, so check your moonraker.conf's [server] block if the default doesn't connect.

3. Add the printer in Rackrew

Fleet → Add printer → Klipper / Moonraker, then enter the host and port from above. Rackrew uploads sliced G-code straight to Moonraker's file storage and starts the print through the same API your slicer's "print now" button uses.

Troubleshooting

  • Connection refused / unauthorized — the bridge's IP isn't in trusted_clients yet, or Moonraker wasn't restarted after the edit.
  • Webcam blank — Rackrew reads the snapshot from /webcam/?action=snapshot on the printer's host; confirm that URL works from a browser on the same network first.
