Getting started
Create an organisation, connect a bridge, and queue your first print.
Rackrew has three pieces: the cloud dashboard (this site), a bridge running on your own network (either the Rackrew Hub or the agent on a spare PC/Raspberry Pi), and your printers, which the bridge talks to directly over your LAN.
1. Create your organisation
Sign in and register — every account gets its own organisation on the Free plan: two connected printers, 500 MB of print files, one API key and one webhook. Every feature is included; no card is required and there is no time limit. Plans differ on how much you run, never on what you get — see pricing.
2. Connect a bridge
- Rackrew Hub — plug it in, join the
Rackrew-SetupWi-Fi network it raises on first boot, and enter your pairing code. See Hub pairing. - Software agent — run the agent on a PC or Raspberry Pi already on the same network as your printers. Grab the pairing command from Developers → Bridges in the dashboard.
One bridge is enough. It reaches every printer on that network — four or forty — so you only need a second if you have printers on a different network, in another building. Bridges are not limited on any plan, so run a spare if you want one.
3. Add your printers
Once a bridge is online, add printers from Fleet → Add printer:
- Bambu Lab — needs LAN-only mode and Developer Mode enabled first. See Bambu setup.
- Klipper / Moonraker (Voron, Rat Rig, Creality via Rinkhals, Prusa via Moonraker, ...) — see Moonraker setup.
4. Queue a print
Upload a .3mf or sliced G-code file under Files, then add it to the Queue. The routing
engine picks a printer that matches the file's nozzle, colour, and material requirements and
starts it automatically — you never assign a job to a specific machine by hand.
Uploaded files count against your plan's storage (by size, not by count). Deleting one frees its space immediately, and uploading the same file twice does not use it twice — Rackrew stores it once and hands you back the file you already have. Your usage is under Settings → Plan.
