Rackrew Hub pairing

First boot, the captive portal, and getting your printers online.

The Rackrew Hub is a small always-on bridge — no PC required, and one Hub drives every printer on your network however many that is. Your plan's connected-printer count is the only limit, not the hardware.

1. Power it on

On first boot (and any time it can't reach a known Wi-Fi network), the Hub raises its own network named Rackrew-Setup.

2. Join the setup network

From your phone or laptop, join Rackrew-Setup. A captive portal should open automatically; if it doesn't, visit any http:// address in a browser.

3. Enter Wi-Fi and pairing code

The portal asks for your normal Wi-Fi network's credentials, and a pairing code — get this from Developers → Bridges → Add bridge in the dashboard first, since the code is generated per-organisation.

4. Add printers

Once the Hub shows as online under Developers → Bridges, add printers from Fleet → Add printer as usual — Bambu setup or Moonraker setup, depending on what you're running.

Notes

  • The Hub streams camera feeds without transcoding — Bambu and Moonraker sources are already in a format that ships directly over the bridge connection, so even the smallest Hub handles a full fleet's worth of cameras.
  • If the Hub drops off your Wi-Fi, it falls back to raising Rackrew-Setup again rather than retrying silently forever — reconnect it the same way as first boot.
